The Passion of Four Generations

The history of the Distillerie Tessendier & Fils  dates back to 1880. At that time, Gaston TESSENDIER, a mathematics teacher, inherited a vineyard in the Cognac region and decided to take care of it during his spare time.

As the years went by, that new line of work became a genuine passion, resulting in his first distillery and the production of his very first eaux-de-vie and cognacs.
The Distillerie Tessendier & Fils, now in its fourth generation, is one of the largest producers and négociants of bulk cognacs in the Charente region, supplying all the most prestigious brand names of cognac.
